This center is state of the art. 👨🎨
Lane Wilhelm (our groundsman) I took the time to actually go inspect and put our hands in the dirt (it passed with flying colors it’s a beautiful clay/sand mix) As beautiful as this place is nothing was going to matter to us if the dirt didn’t meet Lanes specs. We also wanted a feel of the atmosphere, oh by the way is FULLY climate controlled perfect for the heat of the summer ✅.
👏🏼 there is 👏🏼 absolutely 👏🏼 nothing 👏🏼 like this facility this immaculate from OKC west. No stone was left unturned when they designed it.
With couple hundred beautiful, safe, and brand new stalls that are covered, with air flow, on dirt floors, a second covered warm up arena, and a covered large connecting ally from main arena to warm up arena this will be a BEAUTIFUL user friendly set up was made with you and your horse in mind.
Connecting to the main arena has the most beautiful banquet event halls that are large enough for everyone! With many other incredible rooms branching from that.

Salt Fork Event Center had the honor of hosting a fantastic group during a tour stop for the Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor’s Turkey Hunt!
A big thank you to Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell, everyone who joined us, the participants, and organizers!
We truly appreciate your time, your mission, and your shared passion for bringing people into our communities and showcasing everything that makes us special.
We’re proud to stand alongside you in highlighting the heart, hospitality, and unique opportunities our event center and community have to offer.
And we have to ask… did the turkeys cooperate, or were they the real winners this year? 🦃 Either way, we’re grateful you spent a couple of days with Alva and Woods County!

Salt Fork Event Center is proud to welcome the Alva Bull Battle Trade Show & Mini Bull Riding today! Both of these events today are FREE!
First Round kicks off at 11 AM
Top two rides advance to the 7 PM performance!
With over 50 youth riders signed in, young cowboys are coming in from Texas, Kansas, and right here in Oklahoma to compete.
Come early and stay all day, enjoy great shopping, delicious food and treats, and all the excitement leading up to the Bull Battle tonight at 7 PM.
It’s a full day of action you won’t want to miss. See you at the arena!

Good things come to those who wait (and work hard). Priefert Complex Designs first met with a group in Alva, Oklahoma in 2014 to discuss a vision of a regional multi-purpose event center. After years of planning, investigating multiple sites, executing three separate designs, the acquisition of financing and a global pandemic, the Alva Arena Authority is on the verge of delivering the Salt Fork Event Center to the people of Northwest Oklahoma.
This project, entirely funded by a trust and private citizens, is a product of multi-generational philanthropy. We have had the pleasure to meet and work with some of the best people our country has to offer, and it has been an honor to get to know and serve them through this project. It will be exciting to see the difference this facility will make to the region.
A special thank you to our design teammates: Stasis Design, P.C., Salas O'Brien, Holtzen Engineering Group, P.C., Norris Design. Thanks to Crossland Construction Company, Inc., for bringing the design to fruition and for the 16-month long video.

We’re proud to have partnered on the Mandan Rodeo Days rodeo grounds for a 2,000-seat outdoor arena featuring covered grandstands, built for both performance and spectator experience.
This project delivers the durability and functionality required for high-impact rodeo events while creating a welcoming environment for the community.
