Okay, this one is just plain fun.

After all, who says the spotlighter can't spotlight the spotlights?

I'm Peter Simon Liciaga, contributing spotlighter for Living Strong Spotlight, and over the past several weeks I've had the privilege of meeting amazing people, hearing incredible stories, and celebrating the local businesses that help make our community such a wonderful place to call home.

What began with a simple idea—that every business has a story—has become one of the greatest adventures of my life.

Living Strong Spotlight: Hidden Potential

Discovering Hidden Potential in Mount Laurel

One of the things I love most about Mount Laurel is that some of our greatest treasures are quietly tucked away, waiting to be discovered.

That's certainly true of Hidden Potential, located in the heart of Rancocas Woods on Creek Road.

Appropriately named, Hidden Potential is a place filled with antiques, vintage treasures, and beautifully repurposed pieces that remind us that old things still have stories to tell and beauty to share.

But the name itself speaks to something much bigger.

Because when I think about Hidden Potential, I can't help but think about the hidden potential found throughout our community.

Behind every small business is a dream.

Behind every storefront is a person or a family investing their time, energy, creativity, and resources into serving others and creating something meaningful.

Many don't have large advertising budgets. Most aren't backed by corporations. They're simply hardworking people doing their best, hoping that others will discover what they have to offer.

That is one of the reasons I started Living Strong Spotlight as part of Living Strong Projects.

My mission is simple:

To help local businesses be seen, be heard, and feel valued.

Because every business has a story.

And every dream deserves to be honored.

Hidden Potential beautifully captures the spirit of so many businesses throughout Mount Laurel. It reminds us that treasures are often found in unexpected places, and sometimes what appears old or forgotten simply needs someone willing to recognize its value and give it new life.

Perhaps the same can be said about people, dreams, and communities.

And speaking of stories, I recently had the pleasure of meeting Sheryl, and I'm excited to share that she has agreed to participate in an upcoming Living Strong Spotlight conversation.

Over the coming weeks, Sheryl will be sharing more about the story behind Hidden Potential, what inspired her dream, the journey of building her business, and some of the behind-the-scenes experiences that have shaped this special place.

I can't wait to learn more, and I look forward to bringing that story to our community.
