We’re ready to go for tryouts!

Middle school athletes can ride the activity bus to Packer Park after school. Upcoming 6-8 grades will tryout from 4:00 to approximately 5:30 everyday this week. High school tryouts will follow. High school athletes should arrive around 5:15 for check in. Player meetings will be held individually on Friday at Packer Park with the coaching staff.

Tryouts are CLOSED to the public. Only players and coaching staff should enter the gates to Packer Park.

Ensure you have your physical upon arrival. All paperwork must be turned in on DragonFly.

Players should have all equipment including cleats AND tennis shoes.

Also, be sure to sign up for tryouts via the Google form found on this page.

Dates: May 4-8, 2026
Time: MS 4:00-5:30, HS 5:30-7:30 pm
For: Upcoming 6th-12th Graders
Location: Packer Park, Lady Packer Softball Field

Rising 6th-8th graders will tryout immediately upon arrival to Packer Park and will be evaluated by our high school coaching staff. Upcoming 9th-12th graders will tryout following middle school tryouts each day. Teams will be released on the night of May 8, 2025 and a mandatory parent meeting will follow on May 12, 2025.

You must sign-up for tryouts using the google form attached at the bottom of this post! Please ensure to sign up using the correct form!

You must also have a current physical on file or bring one with you or you will not be allowed to try out. All forms on Dragonfly must be updated. See the DragonFly section in the Google Classroom for more help.

You will need to wear softball pants, and have a glove, cleats and turf shoes (tennis shoes) with you to participate. If you have any questions, please contact our Head Fastpitch Softball Coach, Taylor Barber at [email protected].

As graduation approaches, we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and leadership our four Class of 2026 seniors have shown both on and off the field. You’ve left a lasting mark on our program and set a strong example for those who follow.

We’re excited to celebrate your next chapter as you continue your academic and athletic journeys at the collegiate level. Your commitment to your education has paid off, and we know you’ll do amazing things!

Senior Decisions:

Peyton Arrington will be attending Georgia Military College on a softball scholarship, where she plans to major in Radiology.

Lanie Burley will be attending Valdosta State University, where she will begin her studies in Nursing.

Rheygan Harrell will be attending Valdosta State University, majoring in Health Sciences, with plans to attend pharmacy school.

Kamry Paulk will be attending Emmanuel University on a softball scholarship, where she plans to major in Accounting.
