Congrats to our One Medal winner, Mrs. Kenly Ives.
Mrs. Ives works hard to make her students feel cared for, loved and successful in and out of the classroom! She is dedicated and deserving! Way to go, Mrs. Ives! You make Sunset SHINE!

Congratulations to our teachers who had PERFECT ATTENDANCE all year!!!

5th graders made a bookmark and recorded a special message for a teacher who impacted their lives at Sunset. They presented it to that teacher yesterday during the 5th grade final walk.

Fourth grade students recently enjoyed a visit from a local beekeeper who taught them about bees, beekeeping, and the process of collecting honey. Students got an up-close look at a real honeycomb, learned about the important role bees play in nature, and even tasted fresh honey! It was a fun and educational hands-on experience for everyone.

3rd grade students visited the Tallahassee Museum where they learned about different animals and living on a rural farm during the 1880's. It was a wonderful experience!

Mrs. McCant had her friend, Jennifer Mothershed, visit 4th grade. Students had a chance to see, interact with, and learn about some cool animals! Such an amazing learning experience for these students!
