One thing couples don’t always realize when planning a wedding is that you’re not just hiring individual vendors — you’re building a team. Your photographer, videographer, DJ, coordinator, florist, caterer, venue staff, and everyone in between will spend more time together on your wedding day than most of them spend with you. That’s why finding vendors who work well together is just as important as finding vendors who are talented at their craft.

A great vendor isn’t only someone who delivers beautiful photos, keeps the dance floor packed, or creates stunning décor. The best vendors are the ones who communicate well, support one another, stay positive under pressure, and genuinely care about creating the best experience possible for their couples.

The way a vendor interacts with other vendors says a lot. Are they kind? Flexible? Team-oriented? Do they help solve problems instead of creating them? Those qualities can make all the difference when timelines shift, weather changes, or unexpected situations arise.

When you’re searching for your wedding professionals, look for the whole package: someone who is exceptional at what they do, has a great personality, treats fellow vendors with respect, and understands that everyone is working toward the same goal — giving you the best wedding day possible.

These photos + more, I have, are a perfect example of what I love to see: a group of wedding professionals coming together, working as a team, and celebrating a successful day. Because when vendors collaborate well, the result is a smoother experience, less stress, and more moments for you to simply enjoy your wedding day.

Late post but…Congratulations to Abigail & Ethan on such a meaningful day Saturday!
It was all around wholesome and God-centered like the start of your marriage should be.

I do get teary eyed now and then for different moments on a wedding day but when Abigail’s dad decided to surprise everyone (except me, thanks for keeping me in the loop for obvious reasons Mr. Lucas 😅) by making a voice track with a slide show to play RIGHT BEFORE walking her down the aisle, I don’t believe there was a dry eye in the church —so meaningful & so special to witness and see her reaction to it all 🥹😭
