Denali Buns Rabbitry

This was total impulse buy...but so worth it! I saw this cute mini tool box when I picked up some pavers at lowes...did I need it? No. Does it fit grooming supplies? Yes. Was it worth it? YES! Zion approved.

Hoping to get back into posting more updates now that school is almost over. But with the kids home, we also have summer shows and getting ready for fall fairs. We have two litters due this month from some of our best rabbits (Susitna/Zion, Whisper/Rocket Man)! I also just sent out legs for 6 of our registered rabbits to get thier Grand Champion Certificates and one to get her Best in Show Certificate.

Aerith is working with a local club on chicken showmanship as well as preparing for the royalty competition at the Washington state rabbit convention. We are working on which rabbits will be attending the show.

We are hoping to knock out more mats and cage tags for the upcoming shows (we have a booth at the state convention). Please let me know if there is something you are interested in. While on my trip to Alaska I pick up some cute Alaskan-y fabric for a few mats. I am thinking about combining some of my military pattered fabric with fun and cute prints (since we are youth and veteran owned).

Its going to be a busy summer! In truth, we wouldn't have it another way!

These are the first show reports I've gotten with the easy2show program. I like the setup of the show reports. I've been using Rabbitry Run Software, and the entry/exhibitor numbers (of additional wins) helps me keep track of points and numbers. Getting used to the way it prints out for the show sheets has really been a learning curve (sometimes a bit frustrating when the same class is on different pages), but I'm learning! Sorry I didn't take many pictures. Below is Aerith with her Youth BOSB with Bandit and Judge Valerie Uptagfaftt. Optimus decided not to get dressed for the show.

I am working on cage tags for the Cashmere Show. If there are any ideas that you might like to have customized, please let me know. After Cashmere, I will be working on 4H Fair Orders for Rabbit Barns. I have changed the size to a regular card size (3.5 x 2). I can do Multicolor as well.

In the near future, I would also like to have other rabbit breed silhouettes that can be customized with names (I only have Netherland Dwarf silhouettes).

My farm boots today, are a bit different. They are boots that were worn along side of many who were not able to make it home. Today, we remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Today I lace up my boots, for those who cannot. Today hits a little harder than most.

We made it back from the Huckleberry Classic! Aerith's rabbits did fantastic! I will post pictures and highlights tomorrow! It was wonderful catching up with amazing rabbit friends! A few of us were able to support some of the youth judging activities by creating different classes of rabbits to be judged.

Great show in Ellensburg with Rebel Rabbit Breeders (and some amazing rabbit friends!) Aerith did really well! I won't know til i get the official show reports how many legs everyone earned. We had some amazing judges (when do we not) who gave great feedback on her rabbits! Til next week! All buns got some cilantro toppers on thier dinner!

This little dude is getting all the extra cuddles! He is so fun and curious! From Four Thistles Rabbitry!

I love this little doe! She got her senior leg this past weekend and now has 6 legs at 6 months old. As sweet as she is she has a forever case of RBF (Resting Bun Face) and doesn't like pictures.

We also added a lovely Black tort Netherland from Four Thistles Rabbitry. Aeriths 4H project is going to be on Torts and Foxes. He loves dandelions leaves! We have the perfect girlfriend for him!
