Today we had a great day! First we had orientation and placement testing, lunch with fellow Vandal students and a campus tour!

This is just a reminder about our Orientation & Placement Testing on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM in Admin. 204 (Administration Building, 851 Campus Drive, Moscow, ID 83844.)

9:30 AM AD 328 Orientation to the ALCP/Meet faculty & staff
9:30 AM AD 204 Testing - Individual Interviews (Waiting area)
10:30 AM AD 328 Writing Test
11:00 AM AD 204 - Break
11:15 AM - AD 328 Reading/Grammar/Vocabulary Test
12:00 PM - Admin Building Tour--Faculty/Chair Offices, ALCP Lounge/ALCP Administrative Coordinator Office
12:15 PM UI Campus Tour (approx. 30 min.)
4:00 PM (Approx.) Watch for level placement, class schedule, and registration instruction email in your Vandal Email

Please arrive in Moscow at least one day early so you can be well-rested for the Placement Testing.
At the ALCP Orientation & Placement Testing we will:
• Provide you with information about the ALCP program
• Answer your questions
• Introduce you to your instructors and other key people
• Test your English proficiency
• Show you around important buildings on campus
• Explain how to register for your classes
You do not need to bring or prepare anything for the Placement Testing. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are happy to help!
