Learn to Farm. Farm to Learn. It’s a diverse group joined by a desire to effect change and grow healthy, organic food right here on campus.
Soil Stewards goals are to promote the preservation of natural resources and sustainability through community outreach, research, and experiential learning. Members include students, faculty, and community members alike. Students range from undergraduate and graduate members, art majors, soil science majors, agriculture majors and environmental science majors.

The Soil Stewards Farm is hosting its annual Fall on the Farm event!
There will be U-pick pumpkins, U-pick tomatoes, a produce stand, a photo stand, houseplants, and more!
The first $300 of pumpkins are free to students with ID. The event is on Oct 7 from 10am - 12pm - everyone is welcome!
The event will be held at the Soil Stewards Farm: 425 Farm Rd in Moscow.

The Get Dirty Farm School June 20 - 24 will be taught by University of Idaho Sustainable Food Systems Instructor and Farmer Alison Detjens. Alison has 14 years of farming experience and holds a M.S. in Agriculture from Washington State University.
