Recommended Paper Types: Drawing, Mixed Media, Hot or Cold Pressed Watercolor

1st Class: at Moscow Contemporary

2nd – 5th Classes: meet on location at UI Arboretum (Barn parking lot), Idler’s Rest, PCEI, and Phillip’s Farm (upper parking lot)

$160 for all 5 classes

Registration is suggested, but walk-ins are welcome.

This class has no instructor and is self guided. Poses will be timed. Bring your own supplies. Please arrive on time, we will begin promptly.

This figure drawing class does not have an instructor.

Please come with materials of your own to draw with.

Wood artists shape a living material characterized by its own grain, movement, and quiet history. Rather than imposing their will, they listen as the wood “whispers,” letting its voice guide their imagination into beautiful one-of-a-kind forms.

The Collage Club exhibit will be inside Mikey’s and check out our Collage Club station in front of Mikey’s! 4-8pm!

Basics of Drawing

Join this class to create a butterfly species in color pencil. You’ll learn the techniques used in color pencil painting—such as mixing, blending, and burnishing colors on the paper—to create realistic results.

All materials are included in the price of the class.

Bookbinding Workshop

Using archival, acid-free materials, we will craft a Coptic-style journal, an ancient technique prized for its beautiful exposed-stitch spine. This link-stitch bookbinding method allows your book to lay completely flat, making it perfect for sketching or writing.

All supplies will be provided.

3D wet felt pieces, small and lovely. Adults $20, all materials included. Ages 18 and under FREE. Anyone under 13 needs to be accompanied as an adult. Taught by Corrie Befort.
