We have spinach, lettuce and greens ready for purchase!!! We will have them all at the market next Tuesday, but if you cant make it to the Morton Farmers Market we can arrange pick up of items from our home farm stand in Morton.
Arugula- 5 oz bag - $5
Spinach - 5oz bag - $4
Mini Romaine Lettuce Heads - $4 each or 3 for $10
Butterhead Lettuce Head - $5 each
Mixed greens - 6 oz bag - $8
All Lettuce and greens are bagged as they are harvested from the garden. You will need with wash your own lettuce before consuming. All of our products are grown organically from seeds we grew ourselves.
A big homesteading principle is being intentional about trying to use the things you already have to do what you need to do. My husband was able to hand seed and water the back side of the dam after we increased the size of our pond. Could have outsourced the seeding but saved thousands of dollars by doing it ourselves.

Twin calves weaning off bottles = heifers throw down
They drive me bonkers and I give special props to mommas with twins or multiples for babies.
Succession planting 🪴...space out your seedlings so you can have multiple waves of your produce!
Let's talk 'bout tomatoes 🍅!!! Pruning the sucker branches and supporting the stalks are key as the plants grow this season.

Updating this post!!! We now have 6 dozen farm fresh eggs ready to pick up. Dropping the price today to only $4/dozen. They are cleaned, but unwashed so they are counter stable.
"Let us" talk about lettuce! Our mini romaines and butter heads are looking fabulous and spri g green mix is coming along well with fresh arugula and spinach! Will be ready to buy at the Morton Farmers Market on Tuesday, June 2nd!!! 4-7pm

Happy Mother's Day!!! An amazing day to celebrate lovely ladies in your lives. Im blessed that not only do i have my trio of kiddos to love and be proud of but now twin heifers, 9 egg layers chickens and rotating flocks of meat birds to enjoy my love and devotion.
