The whole BLS tech team worked together to get this Precision Planting Clarity blockage monitoring system installed and set up on a Krause 8 Row Gladiator strip till bar in one afternoon.

Colson led the team with the pre-work and custom designed brackets for holding diffusers and blockage sensors. Blane followed up helping Colson get those installed while Justin did most of the implement wiring and Andy did most of the in-cab display wiring and setup. At the end of the day, everyone was rewarded. The grower brought the team pizza and cookies which went over well and didn't last long, and the grower now has row by row Clarity on his strip till bar to help identify problems very quickly.

We recently upgraded a grower’s John Deere 6230 from an older Trimble FMX with radio-based RTK and Autopilot to a modern GFX 1260 + Nav 960 + Autopilot system running CenterPoint RTX Fast.

CenterPoint RTX Fast vs. Radio-Based RTK
With CenterPoint RTX Fast, the grower can say goodbye to relying on a local RTK radio network. That means:

• Fast convergence and highly accurate GNSS correction

Before the install, Andy is getting all the pieces updated and verified — GFX 1260, Nav 960, VDM 912 for Autopilot, Field IQ module for Remote Output, and CenterPoint RTX Fast — along with making sure all licenses are entered and everything is communicating and working properly.
