This piece took me forever, but finally finished my wood burnt goldfish! Of course it is painted with watercolors, but for the actual fish I used a 24k metallic gold watercolor paint. It was my first time playing around with the 24k gold watercolor paint, definitely going to be using that in the future!

Finished my wood burnt and painted risqué bunny peep. I got this idea as I was making my plain peep and honestly, this is the most fun I’ve had with a piece in a long time. I hope you all enjoy her as much as I do lol. I’m debating making some more peeps with different personas, any thoughts?

Made a little wood burnt peep

Tried something a little different with this wood burnt snail piece. I usually don’t do too much shading with my pieces, but I decided for this guy it just felt right. I know trying to take more pictures of my pieces during my process of making them, but I’m not the best lol. Swipe to see it framed, my original sketch, and I he piece half painted. As always, let me know what you think!

A more abstract wood burning piece this time. This one was more of a challenge with all the fine curved lines, but also kind of fun. Let me know your thoughts! Swipe to see the sketch.

Super happy with how this wood burnt honey bear turned out! Sometimes I struggle with deciding what colors to paint a piece, but this one I had a pretty clear idea what color palette I wanted to use. The honey bear is also so cute, I am debating making some more slightly smaller ones maybe in different colors? Let me know your thoughts if any. Also swipe to see before framing and my original sketch.

Finished this new wood burnt and watercolor cicada piece. I always feel like when I do cicada pieces, green is color I always think goes best with them. Swipe to see the piece before framing and the original sketch!
