We hold the core belief that opera is a powerful, and emotionally thrilling art form. Paradox Opera is dedicated to the fair and humane treatment of artists.
The purpose of Paradox Opera is to foster a new generation of both opera artists and audiences. Productions will include commissioned new works that focus on current issues, new translations of traditional operas with a topical twist, and operas reimagined for today’s audiences. We believe that the highest quality performances are created when the artist is an equal part of the creative process.
We are so excited to be joining the amazing lineup or artists at the Geek and Grub Market this Sunday!!

This Pride we are BUSY BEES!! With Don G in the books we still have FIVE events we will be part of this June! (And more to come!) So mark your calendars and chase us around town!!
🎭 Saturday, June 13 1-4pm we’re crashing TheatreFEST! Catch us hanging out with our friend at Triangle Theatre Weekly at Thompson Hall on NC State Campus!
🎤 Saturday, June 13 7-10pm that’s right just later that night we’ll be heading over to for their Disney Karaoke night!
🎶 Sunday, June 14 5-7pm we’ll be performing as part of the Triangle Theatre Weekly First Anniversary Party! We’ll be hanging out at celebrating an amazing year of local theatre!
🎵 Tuesday, June 16 6:30-9pm we’ll be back with our regular Classical Open Mic! Sign up to perform at our website and come in your most FABULOUS attire!
🎲 Wednesday, June 24 we’re partnering with our amazing friends for an Actual Play session of Outrunner as a fundraiser for our upcoming season! You can even get a seat at the table for a donation!
