Morgan Whitney Ferguson, age 40 of Morristown, Tennessee passed away Thursday January 22, 2026 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center of Knoxville after a brief illness and courageous battle. She is preceeded in death by her father Tony Ferguson; grandparents Lowell and JoNell Ferguson, Helen Morris, Charles Simmons; great grandmother Edna (Bill) Morris, aunt Jennifer Turner and best friend Megan Toney. She is survived by her mother Wayna Simmons; brothers and sisters Jordan (Kelly) Ferguson, Mason (Tiffany) Edmonds, Emma Ferguson, Ellie Ferguson, Alyssa Simmons and Jesse Simmons; neices and nephews Kelsey, Aubrey, Raylee, Kayden, Owen, Gideon and Benjamin, Nolan; aunts and uncles Teena (Kevin) Martin, Teri Lyn Ferguson, Ginny (Bill) Bentley, Mary (Don) Dalton; cousins Kaitlyn and Hayden Martin, Weston Turner, Pam (Bobby) Turley and Dawn (Bill) Rogers, special friends Cheryl Toney and Jeanette Cashion. The family would like to thank the Fort Sanders and Select Specialty medical staff for their excellent care. Special thanks to Fr. Tim Sullivan and the chaplains of Fort Sanders for their services and support. No funeral services are being announced. The family asks for prayers at this time.
