At Competitive Athlete, we offer a functional training approach to build a solid athletic foundation while staying focused on each athlete’s individual goals. We specialize in linear and lateral speed techniques, explosive power development, foot speed, agility, and conditioning. Our athletic performance program is a dynamic and energetic 90 to 120-minute workout that is closely supervised by our team of coaches with attention to safety and proper technique.

3 months of basketball and baseball strength training=85lbs of MUSCLE MASS gained as a collective group, averaging around 11lbs per athlete‼️‼️😤😤 These guys have set new personal records all summer long! 💪🏻💪🏻 We take transformation Tuesday to a whole new level!!

Our 10-12 year old age groups have been doing awesome over the past several weeks with our footwork/coordination drills!! These kids are hungry to get BETTER‼️💪🏻💪🏻

These guys keep putting in the work this summer!! Here is a video of some of our college basketball athletes performing a barbell RDL.
This specific exercise is great to incorporate in any lower body program! 🔑 focus for this particular lift is to really engage the posterior part of the legs to target the hamstrings. Doing so by keeping the bar close to the body, slight bend in the legs, and extending the hips back!
It was great having some of the athletes from Walters State Women’s Basketball team come and get a solid workout in today!! We are looking forward to putting in the WORK the rest of this summer!🏀🏋️♀️

Two of our college basketball athletes from Tennessee Wesleyan and Bryan College came to WORK today!! Summer is here which means it’s offseason grind time!! 🙌🏼😤😤
