🌟 Community in Action: Feeding Kids, Fueling Hope 🌟

We’re proud to partner with We Care of Grundy County to continue the BackPack Program, providing weekend food support to local elementary students who need it most.

This partnership is about more than food—it’s about dignity, consistency, and showing up for kids and families in our community. Because when a child doesn’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, they can focus on learning, growing, and just being a kid.

As we close out another year and get excited for the holidays, it is also a crucial time to remember those in real need right here in our own community. Many local children face hunger between Friday afternoon and Monday morning when school meals aren't available.

Morris Rotary and Morris Rotaract are asking for your urgent help to keep this vital program running. With over 250 local students currently being helped throughout Grundy County, the program’s annual budget will soon exceed $40,000.
Your donation, big or small, directly covers the ongoing costs of food and supplies, ensuring these students have meals every weekend and during school breaks. The need is immediate and local.
Please consider donating today to support this vital, community-driven effort:
• $10 per month (just $120 per year) helps feed one student for the entire school year.
• $4,000 fully funds a packing night event for all students.
