Aria Learning Center
I provide one-on-one structured literacy tutoring for students with dyslexia and reading challenges.
Using the Barton Reading & Spelling System, I help kids build confidence, improve reading and spelling, and discover their potential.

If you’ve been feeling like your child is falling behind or struggling with reading, you don’t have to wait until the next school year to start helping them.
I’m currently booking sessions and offering free Friday phone consultations if you’d like to talk through your child’s needs first.
Sometimes just having a plan makes everything feel a little more manageable 💙

What’s one book your child has asked you to read over and over again? 😄📕
🧠 Fun is not extra.
One thing I hear a lot from parents is, “They had so much fun.”
And I always think… good.
Because fun isn’t extra — it’s part of how kids learn.
When a child feels relaxed and engaged, their brain is actually more open to taking in new information.
That’s when things start to stick.
It’s still structured, it’s still intentional — it just doesn’t feel heavy.
And that makes a big difference. ❤️

Early learning with ADHD can be a bit like listening to the radio while driving away from the station.
At first, the signal is clear. But the further you go, the more static creeps in—until you’re only catching pieces of what’s being said.
It’s not that the child isn’t trying or isn’t capable—they’re just not consistently receiving all the instruction.
So we slow down, go back, and rebuild those missing pieces in a way that actually sticks.
Think of me as a learning translator 💙

I’ve been working more closely with a homeschool family recently, and it made me realize how helpful this kind of support can be.
Homeschooling can be a lot to carry — especially when reading or spelling isn’t clicking the way you hoped.
I’m now supporting homeschool families by working alongside your existing curriculum, stepping in to reinforce skills, add explanation when needed, and help monitor progress along the way.
This isn’t about replacing what you’re doing — just supporting you where it matters most.
If that sounds like something your family could use, feel free to reach out and we can talk through what that might look like.

Thank you to the organizers of the Home & Community Expo, Lori Bonarek Realty!
I had such a great time meeting families and talking about kids, reading, and learning.
I’m really grateful for the chance to connect with our community and share the work I do through Aria Learning Center supporting struggling readers.
Looking forward to connecting with more families who may need support.

Part of my I ❤️ Reading series this month 💗
Listening to stories builds vocabulary, comprehension, and a love of language — especially for kids who struggle with print.
Audiobooks aren’t a shortcut. They’re a bridge.
I’m curious — what audiobooks has your child loved?
(Car rides, bedtime, and quiet time all count, too.)

If you’ve ever thought, “If I have to read this book one more time…” — you’re not alone 😅
Kids don’t ask for the same story over and over to drive us nuts. Repetition helps them feel safe, understand the language, and really take the story in.
Pro tip for parents:
If you’re losing your mind, try switching it up for yourself — silly voices, asking “what do you think happens next?”, or pointing out a tiny detail in the pictures you hadn’t noticed before.
You stay engaged, and they’re still soaking up all the learning.
So I’m curious…
👉 What are some books you’ve read to your child more times than you can count?
(And yes — this absolutely counts as reading ❤️)

Kicking off my I ❤️ Reading series this month! 💗
Reading doesn’t look the same for every child — and that’s okay.
Stories can be read, listened to, shared, or revisited again and again.
I’m curious:
👉 What are your kids reading or listening to right now?
(Audiobooks absolutely count 🎧)
