Update blew a rr in prac and also in the first heat now onto the feature

Well starting last outta 11 I guess a bad draw we'll see what we have as was only able to get one session of prac in thanks to me and not packing everything I needed

We may make an appearance for this ol gem haha don't miss out prob 15 years since I've ran on it gonna be sweet.

Let's not let this happen 🙏 too many places and or events no longer run for the lack of support not sure why as Ive seen everywhere racing in general is getting more support and new followers and publicity than I've seen in years but why is karting dying? Besides the economic aspect side of things ? I've seen ppl grow up in this sport and do big things most at a very young age. This is the ground starting stone in building some of the best drivers I've seen.. I've also have ran against stock car drivers who've thought karting was easy and they will tell you that it's most def not you definitely have to use your head.. regardless something needs done something needs to happen before we all have to travel 1000 miles just to run somewhere cause they all died out.

The Goodland Grand Prix has been a beloved fixture in our community for many years. However, with last year marking the event's 20th anniversary, we have come to the end of an era. We express our sincere gratitude to all the sponsors and volunteers whose contributions were instrumental in making The Great Indiana Street Race the resounding success that it was. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the Southern Indiana Racing Association for their unwavering dedication and support throughout the years. The community participation in this event has been invaluable, and we thank all those who have supported us over the years.

As I said before and ill hold my word I've had more than enough commitments I would make changes so for those who had prior plans one day can run the other as I know this was last min but you guys showed me you wanna race... I will be at the track later today to keep an eye on it as the weather is doing nothing but helping it right now and I still wanna see someone with a time less than 11.8**maybe a lil bonus at the end of both nights!!!

OPENING NIGHT 5/14 - $500 to win Clone heavy and regular points night

$50 to win, $30 2nd, $20 3rd for Jr. 2 Champs sponsored by Precision Racecraft. If there are not 3 Jr. 2 champs we will change it to Jr. 3 champ.

Clone heavy is $30 entry for all drivers - 15 kart minimum for the $500 to win

You can pay for your membership and reserved pit spot this weekend as well. They are each $50 for the year. A membership gives you $10 off each entry every night for our normal classes and if you race at least 7 races you’ll get a trophy at the banquet. You can put 3 immediate family members on one membership.

No grills in the pits and no parking vehicles without a trailer attached or a kart in the back in the pits.
