Burke Recovery

The Town of Chimney Rock is opening up for one day to allow visitors to support the town and see the progress next Saturday, December 14th. Most businesses have a temporary set-up at the Tryon Equestrian Center that you can visit anytime. Next Saturday, though, they are opening up the actual town and limited businesses there. This is your chance to show support and see the progress. Expect lots of traffic!

Cold Purple is being called for the next few days, meaning that temperatures will be at freezing or below. The list of shelters for men, women and families are listed below. Free ART bus service to the shelters are available during Code Purple.
