Asking again. If anyone has a van that could be used to transport 7 dogs to Maine please reach out to me. We leave on June 24 and will be driving 18 hours straight to Maine. The rental of the van alone is going to be around $800 with the extra miles we are going to be paying for. It's over a 2000 mile round trip. The vet bill to get them ready to go was $1,350.00. One of the shelters in Maine is giving us back $500 of that. But everything else is straight out of our pocket.
We fund all of this ourselves. We have done everything for these dogs for two years with very very limited donations. We have very rarely asked for donations. This is why we can't continue our rescue. It comes to a choice of paying our mortgage or buying dog food and paying vet bills.
We are determined to get these dogs to a place that is not overpopulated with dogs so they can have a chance to find a wonderful home. If you can help we have a Go Fund me. If you can't please share our link from previous posts.
Pray for us to have a safe trip.
Thank you Regina Bridges Warlick Danny Warlick

My baby boy Henry crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. He has been declining for a while now. He had the biggest personality and was loved so very much. I told him so many times that I wish I had him his whole life. We were able to make his last two years comfortable and give him so much love. I miss you my Henry boy 💔💔

After a longggg morning at the vet and an extremely expensive bill all 7 dogs had their 4DX tests and were all negative! They also had every immunization available for dogs. Maine has very strict laws regarding pets. They have strict spay neuter laws as well. This is why they are not busting at the seams at shelters. We are heading to Maine in a few weeks!!

I know it's a bit of a long shot and alot to ask but would anyone have access to a cargo van that would haul 7 dogs in crates? We are traveling to Maine on June 24. We are planning to rent a van but I just thought I should ask if anyone has one to borrow.

We just got word today that we will be taking 7 dogs to Maine! Maine has very strict guidelines for bringing dogs in! A full medical assessment and every vaccine and test you can think of! They offer a great opportunity for these dogs to be adopted to wonderful homes! Every dime we spend to get them vetted and the trip to Maine will be so very worth it! The tentative date is near the end of June!

Please please read and share. I added a picture of Joey when we first rescued him. His leg was pitiful. We didn't even know if his leg could be saved but as you can see he runs and plays on it normally. The vet who examined him at that time said there was nothing wrong with it. We feel like it was mistreatment or it got hung up in a leash and injured..

Joey 🐾 | Black Mouth Cur | Morganton, NC
Rescued just in time, Joey is thriving with us at our home and ready to be someone’s best friend.
Joey is a 3-year-old Black Mouth Cur with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He has a moderate energy level and would be a wonderful match for someone who enjoys outdoor time, daily walks, and quiet evenings with a loyal companion by their side.
Joey is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented. He loves belly rubs, leisurely walks, and happily carrying sticks like they’re his prized possessions. He gets along well with other dogs and has not shown aggression. While his experience with cats is unknown, his temperament has been calm and loving.
He is:
Neutered
Heartworm negative
Crate trained
Dog-friendly
Loving, loyal, and eager to please
Joey would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family and receive the affection he craves. He doesn’t need constant activity — just consistency, companionship, and love.
If you’re looking for a devoted dog who will be grateful for every bit of attention and return it tenfold, Joey may be the one you’ve been waiting for.
You may not be looking for a dog—but someone you know might be.
Sharing Joey’s story could put him in front of the person meant for him 🐾
