The Berkeley

Berk the Elf decided to join Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus and the 3 wise men in the Christmas nativity today.. He just thought he was part of the group.. What will we do with him?? Where will we find him next?? 😄🤷🏽‍♀️

Well today Berk the Elf thought he take a chill day and relax in the dining area in a tin pale .. Just to scope out his next adventure, so stay tune for Thursday to see where Berk the elf is?

Well Berk the Elf was at it again, But this time he was messing with our executive Director.. And made a mess with the snow ❄️…. Berk just be into everything when we are not looking.. What will he be doing next??? 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

So Berk the Elf has been busy this weekend!! So Sunday morning he was chasing the North Star ⭐️ and got hung up side down, and the This morning He was trying to climb to the top of the tree.. We will never know what he will be up to next.. But we will find out!!!

Well we have a new member of our staff here at The Berkeley and his name Is Berk the Elf.. And we were looking for him all day long!! And we found him hanging around watching the residents.. That Darn Berk!!!

Swing by 400 2nd Ave NW, Hickory, NC 28601 as we host a Hot Cocoa & Candy Cane Tent during the Hickory Christmas Parade. Right from our parking lot!

We’re serving cocoa, handing out candy canes, collecting donations, and guiding parade parking… all to support holiday gifts and celebrations for residents in our senior living communities. 💛

Bring your fam, bundle up and enjoy the parade! Santa literally comes right past our lot. 🎅

Let’s make some holiday magic together while doing good for our seniors!

Tonight we had our trick-or-treaters and the residents enjoyed every bit of it. We had a lot of sweet costumes and scary costumes and the most adorable costumes. Thank you to the families that brought the kids and to the families of the residence who donated the candy. Happy Halloween 👻🎃💀🎃

Last Thursday our residents went on an outing/lunch to KFC.. We also went to Henry River Farm and they had a blast just sitting in the rocking chairs looking at the kids sipping on Apple Slushy and eating pumpkin donuts.. Let’s just say it was hard to get them to leave but they left happy!!! ❤️🎃🎃

Monday the residents had an awsome time decorating their own Halloween Cookies.. They turned out wonderful!! 🎃🎃
