Barn Loft Pottery

2024 was a hard. It’s difficult to find words for it and it’s still tough into 2025. We made it to ‘25 with the help of our family, friends and community and we are grateful for that. There is a gaping hole left in our lives, shifting priorities and changes in the rhythm of life, but we are still held together through the help and support you offered and continue to give. Thank you for trusting us and all of our friends at WUAS with your support. We are grateful to serve our community with our artistic endeavors. 2025 will be different than ‘24 but we have hope for good days ahead for us and you as well.

#2025

My dad was my ride or die. Always there. Always glad to talk, always glad to help. He taught me how to work with my hands. He was a painter, a jack of all trades. He loved birds, bourbon and good ci**rs. He REALLY loved his family.

He was there at my first breath, and I was there at his last. I love that man and I’ll miss him until the day I die.

Looks like just about 10 years ago…I remember beginning gutting out this place during the Historic Morganton Festival and it was in BAD shape.

This coming weekend we’ll be at the festival but in a different way. Booth outside, funneling people inside the store, which is much lovelier today than it was 10 years ago.

Anndddddd now I want the homemade eggrolls that we always get during the fest. 🙂
