Rocko’s Pizza is doing it RIGHT.

Wood-fired, homemade sourdough crust with that perfect balance of chewy and crispy, slightly charred in all the right places. The red sauce tastes fresh and rich (you can tell it’s not from a jar), and the cheese is melted just right to get that cheese pull, which is what makes it for me!

The pepperoni with a spicy kick from the jalapeños that actually adds flavor, not just heat. Every bite is amazing.

We got three different pizzas! I didn’t even get a chance to take pictures of the others before they were gone…

If you’re local here in Morganton and haven’t tried Rocko’s yet, you’re missing out.

Hey guys, Bethany here! I wanted to pop on for a second and review a food truck we have just been to. I’m a SUCKER for hot wings. I’ve been following this food trucks Facebook for a couple weeks and finally saw a time where I could coordinate an outing, having a baby girl and running a business and all, it can be tricky! Tonight we went to Silver Fork Winery Pavillion and got to finally try the food I’ve been drooling over from The FireTruck Catering LLC.

Oh. My. Ggggg. First. The buffalo wings.. out of this world. It’s hard to find a truly good wing that isn’t slimy, TOO UNBEARABLY HOT, or just meh not hot at all… “I have that sauce at home”… The buffalo wings were crispy, coated with a beautifully flavored original sauce and there was enough left to dip fries in.. the heat is perfect! The Asian wings were that sweet heat I needed, not too sweet and not too spicy the flavor is beautiful and the heat is perfectly paired.. The loaded house cut fries, out of this WORLD, hand cut fries are amazing, the bacon is crisp and fresh! The cheese coats more than just the top layer of fries!.

My first job at 15 was five guys burgers and fries, and let me tell you… this smash burger knocks them out of the ball park. Holy cow I never thought I’d ever say that!

Catch them when you can because this is truly an experience you need to have! Their location schedule can be found on their page! I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!!!
