Moorhead Public Schools' Superintendent Brandon Lunak made it to where he is today partly because of teachers who mentored him at every level of his education.

"They showed they cared and made me feel important,"

At this year's graduate school commencement, he will highlight the people who have impacted his life in profound ways, encouraging students to do the same.

"I want to honor my former teachers in front of the graduates to say 'this is what they meant to me. Now go find somebody you can mean something to—and go make a difference.'"
