Mojo Baseball Blue 2036

Proud is an understatement. Our first season together and these boys did not disappoint. Yesterday in our 9th tournament of the year we came up short in the semi-finals against a talented NEO Donkeys team. Most importantly the boys left it all out on the field.

What's impressive, is that was the first tournament these boys didn't make it to a championship game. A group of boys who mostly played league ball went out and competed all season against the best competition we could find.

Every single player contributed in big ways. Every single one of them had a hot bat during some point in the year. Every single one of them grew in fielding, hitting, throwing, base running, and overall baseball IQ. Every single one of them learned to battle, fight and develop mental toughness.

Every single one of them come from a great family who support and encourage not just them but all their teammates.

Nine tournaments, nine different parks, Six gold rings, Two silver and a third place finish. Just getting started...

We are thankful for these dads pushing these boys not to just be become better ball players but more importantly become great young men.

No better way to celebrate Father’s Day than some more Mojo Baseball.

Last one best one. After 11 hours at the ball field today, our boys went 3-0. Catch us all day tomorrow in Goldsby or Live on Gamechanger. The boys have some tough competition ahead of them and they’re ready!

Who’s next?

MIF Dusti Counts had to “dust” off the cleats but proved she still has it. She led the team of moms flashing the leather and throwing out boys on the bases.

After she gunned out the lead off batter on a ground ball to SS, the boys realized they were going to have to come to play.

3rd baseman Adrienne Sumearll led the offense attack for the Mojo Blue 2036 Mom Squad. She went 3 for 4 with some bombs to the outfield.

The boys and coaches agreed, “OK, next practice Kent’s mom is going to help us work on our hitting.”

The boys had their toughest scrimmage of the season tonight. Their moms came to play and didn’t hold back.

In the end, the boys walked it off in the bottom of the sixth despite the offensive power from their mommas.

At the end of the day we know who the real MVPs are. They love their Mojo moms.

Tomorrow the boys face their toughest match up of the year in a tough scrimmage vs the moms!

Fulton Dzurisin led the team both Hits and RBI. His bat helped the team secure another tournament win.
