Wayne Howell's dedication to FFA is truly inspiring! He's been a part of the organization for years, both in high school and as the barn manager at the Piedmont Interstate Fair. R.D. Anderson is one of his favorite FFA programs, and we are proud to partner with him in the agriculture barn at the fair annually. A special shout-out to our teachers, Ms. Phillips and Mrs. Morton, who are instrumental in making the fair a success each year. We are honored to name Wayne an honorary member and present him with this banner. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our FFA program.

The Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will now be held Wednesday, May 20, based upon the strong possibility of rain and thunderstorms, Thursday evening. Our goal is to provide a safe, meaningful, and memorable experience for our students and their families. The latest forecast from the National Weather Service shows a 75% chance of rain and a 40% chance of thunderstorms for Thursday. After careful consideration and reviewing our senior survey, in which 85% supported this date change, we believe moving the ceremony to Wednesday is our best option. We recognize the challenge this date change may create for some families, and truly appreciate your understanding. While we know no decision we make will work perfectly for everyone, our main priority is celebrating our graduates in the safest and most positive environment possible. Thank you so much for your flexibility as we honor the Class of 2026 and celebrate their remarkable accomplishments together!
*Please note that graduation practice will now be held Wednesday, May 20 at 8:30am.

It's important to note that proper training in these emergency procedures can make a significant difference in the outcome for injured athletes.
