Crews from all three shifts attended Isaac Frazier’s “Tactical Extrication” class this week, where they received hands on training using our new AMKUS battery powered extrication tools.
This training provided the opportunity to sharpen their skills and save time during emergency operations, where seconds can make the difference between life and death.
We would like to thank Isaac Frazier for sharing his knowledge and expertise, as well as Time’s Up Towing and Recovery for donating the vehicles used during the training.

Today, we remember the lives forever changed on May 20, 2013, after an EF-5 tornado tore through our community with unimaginable force. In just 39 minutes, the storm left a path of devastation across Moore, taking 25 lives, injuring hundreds and forever impacting countless families.
We honor the victims, survivors, first responders and neighbors who stood together in the aftermath. Through heartbreak and loss, our community showed extraordinary strength, compassion and resilience.
The memories of Plaza Towers Elementary, the families affected and every act of courage that day will never be forgotten. As we reflect 13 years later, we continue to stand together remembering those we lost and honoring the spirit that helped Moore rebuild stronger than before.

The 1999 Bridge Creek–Moore tornado remains one of the most powerful in history, with winds exceeding 300 mph. In just 85 minutes, it carved a 38-mile path of devastation, destroying thousands of homes and claiming 36 lives.
On this day, we remember those who were lost and honor the many who were injured. We also recognize the courage of the citizens and first responders who stood strong in the face of unimaginable destruction. In the aftermath, Moore and the surrounding communities showed the nation the true meaning of the Oklahoma Standard—resilience, unity and unwavering strength.
