🎉 BIG NEWS from Unbridled Equine Programs!

We are honored to announce that we have received a $25,500 grant from a private charitable foundation to fund our equine-assisted programs for veterans, first responders, at-risk youth, and vulnerable populations in Central Texas.

This grant directly funds 30 individuals through our full Path to Purpose program — helping them discover their strengths, navigate their story, and live a life of purpose.
At Unbridled, 84% of participants show statistically significant improvement across outcomes including purpose, emotional regulation, and strengths awareness.

We are grateful beyond words to the foundation for believing in this work and investing in the lives of those who need it most.

Last week was a full one for Unbridled — and our hearts are grateful for the incredible community that continues to come alongside our mission!

On Tuesday, Bubba's 33 hosted a give-back night benefiting Unbridled, donating 10% of proceeds to support our programs! We are so thankful for their generosity and partnership.
A special thank you as well to the Texas A&M University–Central Texas Rodeo & Western Club for making the evening extra memorable by teaching kids how to rope — it was such a fun experience for families and participants alike!

Thursday evening, we had the opportunity to connect with students and families at the Midway High School resource fair and share more about the work happening at Unbridled.

Then on Friday, we celebrated two very special members of our Unbridled family — our intern Jason and research student Kate — at their honor society graduation celebration. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments, and we cannot wait to see all they continue to achieve.

It was a week full of community, connection, growth, and celebration — and we are deeply thankful for every person who supports the mission of Unbridled. 🤍

We’re so proud of our intern—and almost University of Mary Hardin-Baylor graduate (yay!)—Jason McCarty for representing Unbridled so well this weekend!

Jason joined the fun at the Purple Proud for Military Kids event hosted by the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, connecting with families and sharing the heart behind what we do.

“Match the Ducks” was a hit… and let’s just say, there were a few unexpected moments too—including a very large snake 🐍😳

Grateful for opportunities like this to show up, serve, and be part of such a great community!

We’re so encouraged to see the continued impact of Unbridled's programs!

Kate Taylor, a University of Mary Hardin-Baylor social work student, recently presented her senior research on the effectiveness of Unbridled’s equine-assisted psychoeducation program—focused on veterans, military personnel, and first responders.

She had the opportunity to present not only at Watson Scholar Days at UMHB, but the BPD conference in New Orleans last month, and next week at the UTA Rural Health Collective conference, sharing statistically significant outcomes drawn DIRECTLY from Unbridled program data.

Moments like this matter—not just because of the research, but because they reflect the real lives being impacted.

Well done, Kate! This is just the beginning...
