I didnt get to IRL capture moments 📸 because ya’ll kept me soo busy the whole time 😭💓. This festival is one I feel deep gratitude for & deserves all the flowers 💐💐💐. The sun is finally feeling warm 🌞🌞🌞 & Spring is officially springing 🐇🌱 I have been quiet on IG and less active with Taíno Kitchen offerings in person to hone in on my strategy for authentically sharing my cultural foods.
There is something about the emergence of spring that brings a ⚡️charge we all need and an opportunity to recount the joy in our lives. For me, sharing my Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 traditions with you all in Vermont has given me the space to share a side of me that is deeply ancestral. Working with the foods that generations before me have brings me comfort & protects a part of the Puerto Rican identity that is constantly trying to be erased. The bonus is the appreciation & support I recieve from you all 🎂
