🚒🔥 Structure Fire Response 🔥🚒
Engine 7, Engine 10, Truck 42, Rescue 90, and Car 31 responded to a residential structure fire on LeBron Ave with heavy smoke showing from the attic on arrival. Crews quickly went to work making an aggressive interior attack while navigating challenging conditions inside the home, which featured tongue and groove construction and a difficult layout that added to the complexity of the fire.
Firefighters worked tirelessly to locate and contain the fire as conditions inside continued to change. Due to the size and difficulty of the incident, a second alarm was declared bringing additional manpower and equipment to the scene.
Second alarm units included Engine 12, Engine 6, Truck 43, Rescue 96, and Car 33.
Through strong teamwork and coordinated operations, crews were able to bring the fire under control with no firefighter injuries reported. The occupant was safely out of the home prior to our arrival and was evaluated on scene by Rescue 90.
Unit 57 is investigating the cause of the fire. Chaplain Presley is on scene assisting the homeowner. Great work by all companies involved! 🚒💪

Today was all about going up! 🚒🪜
Crews at Station 14 on Selma Highway, home of Engine 14 and Rescue 86, spent the day sharpening their ladder skills with hands-on training involving both the aerial ladder and ground ladders.
Whether it’s reaching upper floors during a fire, performing rescues, or accessing difficult areas, ladder operations are a critical part of the job — and our crews work hard to stay at the top of their game! 💪🔥
Great work by everyone involved today!
