SOS Ministries

This week, Lawrence & Melanie and John & Chelsea, along with their children, served at SOS in tremendous ways.

They ministered at LCA, visiting the students they sponsor through Legacy Christian Academy, served alongside our clinic team, encouraged the Shepherd’s wives, participated in community service projects, and engaged in many other meaningful activities.

Thank you for investing your time, love, and energy into the lives of those we serve. We are grateful for your partnership in the Gospel and for the blessing your visit has been to the SOS community.

“For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for His name in serving the saints, as you still do.” Hebrews 6:10.

At STC, students are preparing for the realities of pastoral ministry through rigorous biblical training and practical preaching opportunities.
Today’s sermon from 1 Timothy 5 1-16 by Alan Richard, a third year student, reminded us that the church is God’s household. A family to be led with honor, care, and purity.
The calling is serious. The training is intentional.

Today at the Legacy Christian Academy Chapel , Pr. Peter reminded students from Ephesians 1:4–14 of the immeasurable blessings we have in Christ. Once slaves to sin, we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, brought into God’s family, and sealed with the Holy Spirit as His own.

“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” Ephesians 1:13

We thank Pastor Mark Rutuna for faithfully preaching from Philippians 2:12–13 today. As believers, we are called to diligently pursue obedience and holiness, knowing that God is actively at work within us, shaping our desires and empowering us to live for His glory.

We also want to welcome two families and two STC adjuncts who are visiting us! MD Lawrence and Melanie, John and Chelsea from Compass Bible Churches. . Additionally, Professor Andy Woodfield and his wife Barbie from . Last but not least, Professor Forest from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We thank God for their sacrifice and effort to join us these next couple weeks. 🙏🏼

During this week’s Staff Chapel, Pr. Fabrice reminded us of the certainty of the Lord’s return, drawing from Scripture that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

As an organization, our deepest desire is not only to pursue excellence in our work but also to see every employee come to know and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We continue to pray that God, in His mercy and grace, will use every opportunity and every circumstance to draw many to Himself.

“You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Luke 12:40

What a blessing it has been to have Professor Matt Mager and Don with us at STC over the past two weeks! They faithfully taught our Leviticus cohort through the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther, encouraging our students through both their teaching and fellowship.

We are deeply thankful for their ministry and for the church that sent them. Thank you for partnering with us in the work of training faithful shepherds for Christ’s church.

What a day of excellence, determination, and teamwork! ⚽🏀🏐 From the first whistle to the final game, students showcased their talents, built lasting friendships, and demonstrated true sportsmanship. The Legacy Christian School Sports Gala highlighted not only athletic ability but also the character and unity that makes sports so impactful.

Today at CBCK Youth Group, we wrapped up our sermon series on Christian maturity! It has been a joy watching our youth grow in their knowledge of God and deepen in their assurance of His love for them. We praise God for what He is doing in this community!
