WE DID THAT!
Florida’s minimum wage is officially $15/hour and Floridians are seeing more in their paychecks this week.
This victory came from a 2020 voter-approved amendment that our legacy organizations, Florida New Majority and Organize Florida, helped organize for.
Change happens when we come together.
We won better wages. Now we’re coming for housing and healthcare.

Duke’s projected data center costs are redacted. Our power bills aren’t.
Massive data centers need a lot of power. Duke’s plan could leave Florida families paying for some of it, while the projected costs are hidden from the public.
Our power bills aren’t blank checks for Big Tech. Show us the numbers. Make data centers pay their own way.

Jacksonville renters just scored a BIG win!
The new Jax Rental Property Database is live and Florida Rising members helped make it happen. Now renters can check a property’s ownership, evictions and code violations before signing a lease.
