Over the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to attend both the Republican Governors Association (RGA) and Democratic Governors Association (DGA) Conferences. These meetings were all about keeping Clean Slate and our mission front and center for state leaders.

One moment that really stood out was meeting Missouri’s outgoing Governor, Mike Parson, who shared that he has an arrest record but wasn’t aware of Clean Slate — despite our presence in the state. That conversation was a powerful reminder of why showing up in these spaces matters so much.

We also connected with incoming Governors who are still shaping their agendas, giving us a chance to advocate for Clean Slate early in their decision-making process.

These events weren’t just about raising awareness; they were about building the relationships and strategies that will help push Clean Slate forward across the country. Grateful to be in these rooms, creating pathways to second chances for millions. 💜

My husband, , was honored with a street named after him, and I couldn’t be prouder. God has truly appointed and anointed him for this journey and this season—to bring hope, change, and restoration to our country, as well as to the hearts and minds of so many.

Seeing his name on that street is a reminder of how faith, resilience, and purpose can lead to extraordinary impact. December 6th is officially Desmond Meade Day in Miami-Dade County, and it’s a reflection of the lives he’s touched and the barriers he’s broken.

Desmond, you are walking in your calling, and I’m so blessed to witness and support you as you continue to inspire and lead with love and hope. 💜

The team visited the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, and it was an experience we’ll never forget.

Walking through the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice was both humbling and powerful, reminding us of the resilience of those who came before us and the work still ahead. 💜
