Today was a good day to spend time with other Agriculture Departments from across the county and build beds for our community. We would like to thank Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Mr. Renfroe and our Administration for the opportunity. Also thank you Northeast Alabama AgriBusiness Center for hosting the event. Good times!

Valley Head FFA members are feeling EMPOWERED at the 98th National FFA Convention! It’s been a great week in Indianapolis. We would like to give a special thank you too our Administrators, Mentone Education Resource Foundation MERF, Alabama Representive Speaker Mr. Nathainel Ledbetter, Gadsden State Community College, Dekalb County Farmers Federation, and Dekalb County CTE. Thank you for your support!

Also a BIG shout out to our friends at Boaz FFA and Crossville FFA for fabricating this life changing adventure. Thank yall!

Fun day putting our skills to contest at the Dekalb County FFA Field Day. FFA members competed in Land Judging, Forestry, Livestock, Zero Turn Mower, and Safe Tractor Driver. Congratulations to Mr. Ben Hairston and Mr. Bryson Gorden on placing in their respective events!!! We would like to say thank you too Randy and Kelly Owen at Tennessee River Music INC, Dekalb County Soil and Water District, Dekalb County Farmers Federation, Mr. Dan Green, Mr. Chip Blanton, and our administration for their continued support.
