Baby to Baby is the best! Our deepest thanks to B2B for sending us four pallets of baby products four times a year. The latest shipment included diapers, socks and wipes. We include these items with our grocery distribution as they become available, ensuring that the smallest members of our farmworker families are taken care of.

We’re starting 2026 supercharged with gratitude for your financial support last year! It enabled us to purchase meat and dairy, rice and beans to accompany every delivery of food donated by Trader Joe’s and Safeway. Thanks to your donations, we provided warm clothing for those 4 am mornings in the fields. We gave away more than 128,000 diapers donated by Baby2Baby! And we gave away 1,250 grocery gift cards so our families can purchase exactly what they need. All because of you!

Grateful for so much kindness! All Saints School in Carmel Valley donated beribboned boxes of food to Nancy's Project, delivered by Mike Hays, our executive director, and his son, Asher, to our longtime community partners, Leonor and Salvador. And board member Orlando Rivas delivered Christmas flowers and gift cards for Nancy’s Project to our dedicated volunteer, Catalina Sandoval.

October 28, 2025 would have been the 107th birthday of Nancy Costello, founder of Nany's Project. She began finding ways to assist Salinas Valley farmworker families when she was just a young mother, and kept at it into her 90s, gradually bringing others into the effort with her. We remember her inspiring efforts with admiration and affection.

The school year is under way, and thanks to Nancy's Project donors and volunteers, our farmworker kids went back to class with backpacks jammed with school supplies, new socks and un**es, and new SHOES! Our annual great shoe giveaway was da bomb! We're grateful to everyone who helps support farmworker families through Nancy's Project.

Extend a warm welcome to our new executive director, Mike Hays! Mike comes to Nancy's Project having led the Perishable Freight Division of Johanson Transportation and leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America and as a deacon on his church’s emergency response team. "This opportunity aligns perfectly with my strengths -- leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement -- as well as my deep passion for serving others," Mike says. "I am committed to ensuring the long-term success of Nancy's Project and the incredible people it serves."
