But what makes this one hit different? It’s who she is in this space. She’s not just a rider. She’s part of the heartbeat. She gets involved. She pours into the community. She shows up with kindness and strength - and that combination is powerful.

💚 Meet our Member of the Month for February - Amber Lawson 💚

Amber is an all-around gem, and we truly couldn’t imagine a more perfect pick. An OG Fuel member and total badass mama, she has been a steady, uplifting presence in this community from the very beginning.

Amber brings an energy that’s equal parts strong and welcoming - she shows up with intention, supports those around her, and makes everyone feel seen the moment they walk through the doors. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for others are felt in every class, every high-five, and every moment in between. We’re so grateful for the way she pours into Fuel and helps make this space feel like home.

This community is stronger, brighter, and better because she’s part of it.

Now, let’s hear from her:

After contemplating for at least 4 months whether or not to step foot into The Tank, I finally took my 1st cycle class in 2022. Almost 4 years later, I could not be more proud that I overlooked my insecurities & took that 1st class. No matter how I feel when I walk in, I leave feeling energized (mentally & physically)! I love the uplifting motivation from all the instructors & the no-judgement space. While I have been active in CrossFit for over 10 years, I needed to change things up a bit! Since adding Fuel Cycling classes to my routine, I’ve seen a big boost in my endurance.

Outside of The Tank, I’m a busy mom of 2 very active teenage girls. Prior to that I was an Oncology nurse but keep my RN license active in case I ever feel the want to return. I love to travel (always planning our next adventure), spending time with friends & doing home projects with my husband.

For anyone new to cycling, I would say go at your own pace & know that no one is judging you! Try those jogs out of the saddle even if it isn’t perfect…even if you have to take breaks & sit down. The more you consistently show up for yourself the better you get. Then one day, you surprise yourself by doing something you never thought was possible!

100 classes isn’t just a number. It’s choosing strong. It’s pushing past limits. It’s commitment to becoming more powerful — inside and out.

And somehow, she does it all while adding so much love, light, and joy to this space. The Tank is better because she’s in it. 💚
