PHASE 2: Framework. Corner Drift
Being able to sprint into shots with balance and without breaking any momentum is one of the most important skills high level shooters possess.
Younger players really struggle to find balance out of this. Which is why relocation catch and shoot at times can be difficult for them.

PHASE 3: Variability Simple PNR Switch ISO work. Dribble count cue after PNR.
Only rule is the player must have efficient dribble count and make sure everything is real.
This is a simple segment that we like to do for rhythm and fun + adding some simple cues for additional variability.

What's more Painful?
If you want to really improve… the weight room should be just as important as your skill training.
3x a week minimum then build up to 5x a week. Add mobility and nutrition to this and you’re really moving.
Visit HoopStudy.com to see how we implement this with our hoopers.
You got this! 🤝
If you don’t want to get on the floor for a loose ball, don’t bother going to the gym to work on your game…
Because you won’t get in the game.
Today’s game is glorified by highlights and ISO moves but this stuff is how you win games, how you stay on the floor and how you’ll gain everyone’s trust.
This is true at almost every level that is competitive. Players that sacrifice their bodies are respected.
What does this mean to you? Next practice, next game, next time you’re playing… When there’s a loose ball, be the FIRST on the floor.
Go to HoopStudy.com for mentorship. You got this!
If you can do this 10 times, UNDER 30 seconds... You are Elite 🔥
Test your Speed, Conditioning, and Change of Direction with this drill.
All you need is a ball and a half-court circle.

Phase 5: Live Decision Making🧠. SPNR Ball Screen Vs Chase Action. IQ
we focus a lot on IQ đź§
If you’re constantly being trapped or disrupted up the line by the hedger when coming off ball screens, mix it up with this chase action.
The chase forces X5 to defend the ball, giving you a late switch feel vs early switch feel.
Great for player who get trapped often as well. It’s harder to trap a DHO when the player handing the ball is an active keeper.
IQ wins games. Go to HoopStudy.com to level up.
