RED BARAAT is "A frenzy of funk, jazz, hip-hop, and Indian bhangra.” (Stereogum). The party comes to the MSU amphitheater this Friday, April 24 at noon. This concert is FREE and all are welcome!

Red Baraat is a pioneering band from Brooklyn, New York. Conceived by dhol player Sunny Jain, the group has drawn worldwide praise for its singular sound, a merging of hard-driving Punjabi rhythms with elements of hip-hop, jazz, and raw punk energy.

The was hosted by Montclair Film Artistic Director Tom Hall, featured poetry by Jazz Szympruch, and celebrated students who are already engaged inhelping the arts thrive in our area.
