The Dragonflies class explored creativity through mosaic art and tin foil art! 🎨✨ We learned that art comes in many different forms and styles—it’s not just crayons and markers. Art is about using your imagination, trying new techniques, and expressing yourself in unique ways. We loved seeing each child’s creativity shine!

Aloha from the Bumblebees! 🌺🐝

The Bumblebees celebrated the end of their luau with tropical fun, island smiles, and an exciting volcanic eruption experiment! 🌋✨ What a memorable way to wrap up our adventure in paradise.

Our Crickets/Grasshoppers class had a dino-mite time baking dinosaur-shaped cookies today! 🦕🍪 The children loved mixing, shaping, and decorating their prehistoric treats while practicing creativity and fine motor skills. What a delicious adventure! 💚

The ladybugs had so much fun stamping colorful flowers onto their paper using water bottles! 🌸🐞 This fun activity helped strengthen fine motor skills while getting creative with colors and patterns. 🎨💛

Next week is National Culture Week, and we’re excited to celebrate the unique backgrounds and traditions that make our classroom so special. Each day will highlight a different aspect of culture, and we would love your help to make the experience meaningful and fun for the children. Participation is completely optional. 

Here’s how you can participate:

Monday, May 11th – Music:
Please send in a link to a song in your home language that we can play during circle time.

Tuesday, May 12th – Toys, Games, or an Object:
Send your child in with a toy, game, or cultural object that represents your heritage.

Wednesday, May 13th – Clothing:
Have your child wear clothing or accessories that reflect your culture.

Thursday, May 14th – Food:
Bring in a small dish from your culture (homemade or store-bought). Please include a list of ingredients for allergy awareness. Note: We have egg and cinnamon allergies in the class. If you’d prefer your child, not try certain foods, just let us know. As always, regular classroom snacks will still be provided.

Friday, May 15th – Books:
Send in a book related to your culture. It can be written in your language or about a tradition, story, or celebration from your background.

So much love (and a lot of giggles) in the Bumblebees class today 🐝💛 Our little ones filled out “All About My Mommy” sheets and described their moms in the funniest, sweetest ways. From “my mom is 100 years old” to “she loves coffee and me,” these answers truly made our day. Moms, you are so loved 💐✨

Our Grasshoppers wrapped up Community Helpers Week by taking flight ✈️🌍 From going through “security checks” to creating their own passports and boarding passes, our little travelers got the full airport experience with TSA! Such a fun and creative way to learn about the helpers who keep us safe while we travel.

Thursdays hit different at MMO 🎶 Ms. Deirdre brings the joy with music, movement, and lots of smiles—definitely the highlight of our week!

The Grasshoppers class had so much fun celebrating Community Helpers Week by turning their classroom into a restaurant! 🍽️ Our little chefs and servers worked together to take orders, serve their friends, and even enjoy some pretend “meals.” Such a creative way to learn about teamwork and the important roles helpers play in our community!
