TBT continuing a little catch up on the videos this one of Tear Stained Letter with the Richard Thompson band captured live on the Watching The Dark compilation:
https://youtu.be/8Bib3R6p_Fg?si=f5BwvMCtrEG6y4xk You can also get to it on the John Sherman 48 YouTube channel.
This is another one that came out of the “Six of one, half dozen of another” conversation with Erik Jacobson you can read more about at the johnshermanmusic.com website on the about page.

Doing a little catch up posting some videos from the last couple months. First up is an excerpt of What’s The Matter Now from the south of France a few years back. https://youtu.be/LjAkevuj-Ik?si=LDumwZC1hq-LNlo7 You can also get to that link from the website in bio if you scroll down on the homepage.
I dug that video up in an extended conversation with activist and music writer Erik Jacobson as part of his “Six of One Half Dozen of Another” series where he asks musicians to pick 6 of their own songs and 6 songs by others that have been particularly influential. There is also a link to that conversation on the about page at the website where you can get to the original version of the song by Cajun accordionist Lawrence Walker from the early 1930s.

Very pleased to announce that the new Mr. Rose single Walking Wounded is available everywhere today.

You can also get to it on the Mr. Rose website page:

Thanks to everyone who contributed including Armando Outthere Diaz who did the video, Ray Ketchem at Magic Door Recording who recorded, mixed, and mastered the track, and Tim Spelios for inspiration and collaboration on the cover.

We moved Bandcamp to the top of the list at the Linktree. A few pennies more there than a couple other purchase options but recommended for you non streamers both for peace of mind and because today is a Bandcamp Friday and they are waiving their fee so most of the proceeds go directly to the artists.

Big day coming up Friday. Also a Bandcamp Friday so will be a good day to buy the thing and get it on your i-pod. Hit Repair Music also waiving their fees and dividing all proceeds equally amongst the musicians who play on the track.

happy to announce that Walking Wounded, both the tune and the video, will be coming out on March 6.
