This July 4th will be 140 years since the dedication of the Civil War Soldiers Monument.

Erected by Monson resident Cyrus Holmes at a cost of $5,500 and presented to the Marcus Keep Post No. 155 G.A.R. of Monson, Ma

Using Vermont granite, it was constructed by W.N. Flynt Granite Co. of Monson, MA

Patriots Day Lexington 2024 04/18/2024

Visited Lexington Massachusetts for Patriots Day, celebrated on April 15th, 2024. Despite the 2:35 AM departure time from Monson, it is a highly recommended visit for anyone who has not attended Lexington's celebrations.
