Monroeville Public Library

The MPL Art Underground summer camp artists created "Street Art!" This project was inspired by learning about underground artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Banksy. There are 17 of these throughout the library!

The Summer Park Hunt is happening now!

Families can explore all 15 Monroeville parks and collect stamps on the official Summer Park Hunt Map.

Printed maps can be picked up at the Monroeville Municipal Building or the Library Children's Room. You can also print out the map yourself.

Congratulations to Gateway student Skyler who broke the world record for most sweaters worn at once! He managed to wear 50 sweaters at once and broke the record in the Monroeville Library Children's Room! Skyler is donating all the sweaters to a Sweater Drive in the fall.

The current Monroeville Gives Back donation drive benefits the Gateway School District Backpack Program. Donations can be dropped off through June and July at the Municipal Building lobby, the Public Works Building, the Police Department, the Senior Center, and here at the library.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Monroeville Animal Shelter drive!

Here's a list of items needed for this drive:
Canned soup and vegetables
Jelly and peanut butter
Canned ravioli/SpagghetiOs
Jell-O and pudding
Macaroni and cheese cups
Instant ramen cups
Cereal and oatmeal packets
Tuna and chicken pouches
Granola, crackers, and pretzels
Instant mashed potatoes or rice
Canned fruit and applesauce
Shelf-stable milk and juices

Please avoid any glass containers or items requiring refrigeration.
