Our teens program is all about finding the perfect balance. Between all the classic camp activities and having a blast together, we also make sure to include hands-on life skills for them to practice.

Today, our teens put those skills to the test by running Outpost Coffee. They handled everything from taking customer orders and crafting the drinks to making sure they were delivered perfectly.

Watching them collaborate, problem-solve, and cheer each other on was the best part of the day. They did an absolutely amazing job! 🤎

Today brought a perfect camp day: jellyfish crafts, basketball, water games, sling shot, and much cooler weather!

Starting our Monday morning with a tour for our teen campers! We are SO excited to have them this week!😄

At TLH Outpost, we believe every kid deserves a place to feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. A place where screens are turned off, nature is wide open, and real connections can grow.

This past week, we got to see that vision come to life in the sweetest way.

One of our campers, who sometimes needs some extra support, was feeling nervous and scared to try the baking soda rockets. He really, really wanted to do it, but the hesitation was holding him back.

Without being asked or prompted by a counselor, another camper noticed, walked right over, and helped him through the activity so they could enjoy it together. 🌲✨

This is the community we are building. A space where everyone is accepted for exactly who they are, and where kids learn to lift each other up.

Counselor Spotlight:

Hi, My name is Sydney. I am one of the counselors at Outpost this summer and am super excited to be here! I love working with all ages of kids but particularly like Younger kids! I will be attending North Carolina State in fall!
