Adding to an already exciting day, Kaelyn will also interview as a Top 5 Teens in Action finalist! This recognition is a testament to the incredible work she has accomplished through *A Gram of Hope* and the lives she has impacted throughout her year of service. At 4:45 PM this afternoon, Makayla will step into the interview room at Miss Michigan to meet the judges and share the passion, purpose, and dedication that have defined her year of service ❤️

For months, she has worked to prepare for this moment. From serving our community to refining her goals, advocating for her service initiative, and representing Monroe County with grace and professionalism, Makayla has poured her heart into every step of this journey 🌟

Our Miss Monroe County's Teen, Kaelyn, kicked off her Miss Michigan's Teen week with a bang! 👑

Yesterday was filled with excitement as she checked into the Frauenthal Theater, participated in the Class of 2026 class photo, and enjoyed yoga with her fellow contestants as they officially began their Miss Michigan's Teen journey. But the excitement did not stop there... ✨

Kaelyn was announced as a Top 5 Teens in Action finalist for her outstanding community service initiative, *A Gram of Hope*. Thanks to her dedication, passion, and impact throughout Monroe County, she will interview for a scholarship on Thursday as one of the state's top service-minded young women ❤️

We could not be more proud of Kaelyn and all she has accomplished during her year of service. Her commitment to making a difference continues to inspire those around her, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the week has in store. Day 1 at Miss Michigan is officially in the books for our Miss Monroe County! 🤎✨

Yesterday, MaKayla checked in at the beautiful Frauenthal Theater and settled into the Delta Hotel, the official host hotel for Miss Michigan week. She also attended the Welcome Ceremony at the B.O. Docks of Muskegon and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Dr. Rolf’s Barbeque.

Most importantly, she looked absolutely stunning and is already having an incredible time! We are so proud of the way she is representing Monroe County and can’t wait to see all the amazing memories, friendships, and opportunities this week brings.

✨ Miss Monroe County's Mini Program is open to girls ages 4–12 and is a fun opportunity to be part of Miss Monroe County Week, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories.

💜 Miss Monroe County's Sparkle Program is open to young women ages 8 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing a supportive and empowering experience where every participant can shine.
