With a heavy heart, we must post this to let everyone know what is going on. Until further notice, Glory Road RC will be closed. This means there are no Friday, Saturday, or Sunday events or practice. Keep GRRC in your thoughts, as there is always hope! We will certainly post up if anything changes. Thanks for everyone's support over the years!

Track will be closed to practice and club racing on 7-15-18. Thanks!

Reminder race 6 of the series Saturday July 14, Glory Road RC Monroe, NC Same schedule as always. 8-10 practice, 10-10:30 track maintenance, 10:30 Driver's mtg. 11:00 SHARP! Racing begins!! If you are going to be late call me or Tony or have a friend sign you up so we can start on time. Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers available for sale. 50/50 available $1 a piece. Proceeds for all go back in to the racing series for prizes etc. You do not have to be a series racer to join the racing on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you Saturday for short track racing at its best!!

No Friday Night Race This Week!

Due to the NC SCT series event on Saturday we will not be having the Friday night race this week. We will post up as soon as possible about the next event!

UPDATE! Unfortunately due to weather conditions we are going to have to cancel the Race for this evening. Weather permitting we will look to pick up race #4 of the series next Friday 6/13. Stay dry everyone.

A Word About Events.....

As you may or may not know, GRRC is run purely on volunteer help. We have standing Friday and Sunday events that we try to run each week, but some weeks may not have someone to run the race. PLEASE check here on facebook prior to coming out for a "race event". If we are for sure running one of the standing events, we will post up stating that. Otherwise the track is open Saturday and Sunday for practice only, and there may or may not be someone there able to set up the timing system. Thanks!

2018 Friday Night Lights Point Series!! UPDATED WITH WEEK 3 RESULTS!

So to make the Friday Night Lights a bit more interesting, we are going to try to do a point series. We have not worked out all of the details, nor do we even know if there is anything other than bragging rights at the end. But here are the current standings after two full events! The series will run until we get to the point where doing Friday nights are out because of weather or attendance. Once we see how many weeks we were able to post, then there will probably be some sort of drop function so you do not have to be at each and every week to have a chance. It really will depend on how the software works with all of this, and what options we have. Hopefully it will turn out to add a bit more fun to an already fun event!
