Compassion For Kids

We had an amazing group of volunteers yesterday! FBC Pineville, FBC Swartz, and Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center all helped the Center in various ways. We are so thankful!

We had a great group from Fairpark Baptist Church this week for our box packing Wednesday. The boxes they packed were distributed to our community the next day! We appreciate our volunteer groups. If you have a group of @20 people available on a Wednesday morning contact us!

Congratulations to our new Miss Louisiana, Shelby Bordelon. We enjoyed hosting the contestants last week for a tour of the Compassion Center.

We have been incredibly blessed to have volunteers from First Baptist Church of Avondale partner with us at The Compassion Center over the past few days. Their servant hearts, positive attitudes, and willingness to jump in wherever needed made a tremendous impact on our ministry and the families we serve.

From organizing products, packing food boxes, and distributing food, they offered encouragement and kindness to everyone they met. They truly demonstrated the love of Christ in action. We are especially grateful that their pastor took time to share the Gospel, reminding us all that while meeting physical needs is important, sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ is what transforms lives forever.

You can help by donating rolling luggage/small rolling carts. Donations are accepted on Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 9am-3pm (closed for lunch 12-1).

They are a big company with an even bigger heart... thank you to our local Sam's Club for partnering with us! They provide food, other products, and volunteers to the Compassion Center.

Thank you to our box packing volunteers today! We had a mixture of ladies from Paron Baptist Church, LBCH staff, and other Compassion volunteers. We appreciate everyone who serves with us.
