After 37 years and millions of meals, we have decided to close our doors and retire. We will always treasure the love and memories of you all.
Remember to support your local restaurants!!! The Kitchen Restaurant was opened in 1984 by James and Mary Traylor. The next year, it moved to its current location in downtown Monroe. Here, they have been serving residents of Ouachita Parish for nearly three decades. The Kitchen is still a family business. James and Mary are now joined by their daughter Terri, along with many other family members,
