I LOVE the work that I do and creating something, from nothing, it keeps the heart beating.

What’ve I been up to you ask ? Well my son in law made my day when he scooped me up on the Harley to see my life long friend Craig Davis off. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Beautiful day to ride and a Beautiful day to remember and cherish a friend who will forever live in my memories. ❤️ ride on sweet friend.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the pain in my.. I mean, the man of my life.
It’s been 501 long years.😂 We’ve laughed together, cried together, worked together, yelled together, cooked cleaned and grieved together, but most of all we’ve lived in the most spectacular creative world together. I will love you until the universe takes us away. Or the aliens come to get us. ❤️
And just a quick shoutout to all of you who have endured our delicious crazy sauce for all of these years… y’all are special.

AHHHH, My dear old friend, how I have missed you.
HEY HEY there folks. Just wanted to share a bit of the social distancing life of an artist. I may be a metal smith , yet I have a deep passion for sewing. So here’s a little ditty for ya. Now when you read this... sing it in the tune of Don McLean, American Pie.

A long long time ago, I can still remember how...
my Grandma taught me how to sew...
And I knew if I had the chance, to make those people smile and dance that I could make those people clothes
and maybe they would smile,
who knows.
But Grandma always made me shiver,
with every look that she’d deliver, when I didn’t sew a hem just right.
I can’t remember if it was pride
or feeling that my soul had died, but something set my soul on fire.

Bye bye to my boring ole life
put the pedal to the floor and It’ll make it alright
and good ole girls are really makin a life, singin this will be be the day that I strive. I will sew and stay alive, I will sew and make me a life.

Moving forward, Albeit I have reconstructed a couple dozen wedding dresses hundreds of leather patches and zippers, and altered more than 100 pieces of clothing, I enjoy my time working with metal and torch. Yet with that being said, I’m in the studio sewing for a cause. A cause and A promise to our nation that will not allow me to exclude ANY human from feeling protected within their own right.
So tonight... I sew.
