Free Summer Lunch Starts Tomorrow!

Thanks to the federally funded Summer Food Service Program, all youth ages 18 and under can enjoy a FREE lunch this summer from June 24-August 21.

WHEN:
Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
No service on July 3

WHERE:
Frank Wagner Elementary Gym
115 Dickinson Road, Monroe

No registration, ID, or paperwork is required. Just show up and enjoy a healthy meal with friends!
Please note that lunches must be eaten on site and cannot be shared with anyone over age 18.

Congratulations to all graduating classes of 2026! We can only imagine how excited some of you are excited to have a break from school and enjoy what summer has to offer. There are so many messages we could share about safe walking, driving, boating, bicycling, hiking, and more. Here’s a few for everyone to keep in mind:

• Celebrate responsibly. Drive sober or get a ride. Handle fireworks safely.

• Know your limits. Choose manageable hiking trails and places to swim based on your skill level.

• Stay cool. Don’t overexert yourself in warm and hot temperatures. Keep hydrated. Seek out local cooling centers. Keep a cool head too.

• Be alert. Be aware of your surroundings. Don’t be distracted on your phone when driving, walking, or jogging. Call 9-1-1 to report suspicious behavior.

• Slow down. Keep to the speed limit. Don’t overextend yourself in activities.
