We are looking for a photographer for our Confirmation (April 11) and First Communion (May 2nd) ceremonies. Might any parishioners have an interest and talent in photography who might be willing to help? We are happy to pay a stipend for it!

Once again, another weekend snowstorm! It is unfortunate that our Sunday worship is once again hindered by snow.

Catholics are excused from their obligation to attend Sunday Mass for serious and legitimate reasons, such as sickness or natural weather events - it is no sin to stay home today out of caution for the dangerous road conditions.

However, in cases where you are unable to attend Mass due to a legitimate reason, we are not dispensed from the third Commandment, which is to "Keep Holy the Lord's Day." Thus, to fulfill this commandment one could:
- Pray the Rosary today
- Watch Mass online
- Read Scripture for a half-hour
Or some other out-of-the-ordinary spiritual practice that sets this day apart for the Lord.

Please let us pray for one another, that while we are separated by snow, we may be united in grace - and gather around the altar of God next weekend!
