St. Jude Parish

On one of the most beautiful days of the year, we gathered yesterday for a fun and competitive softball game! Everyone from five years old to seventy-five enjoyed a game that went into extra innings! Another great event that brings our community together for fun!

Both in life and death we are the Lord's.

This week we are celebrating Camp Adore, where kids get a chance to be in the presence of the Eucharist every day so that they can fall in love with Jesus. Check out the radiance of this light falling upon the altar - a sign of God's presence among us!

This week, we also mourn the passing of our former Director of Religious Education, Jean Paul. She worked with our youth for decades - so it is fitting she would pass while our Catholic camp is going on. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

Our First Saturday Mass will feature a special blessing for fathers this month - join us Saturday for Mass in honor of Padre Pio!

This weekend, join us for the easiest fundraiser - that benefits you! Bob the Gold Man will be here at St. Jude's parish to buy your old gold, silver, precious stones, old rings, broken earrings, and any other precious item - he gives you a nice check, and also gives a donation to St. Jude's! He'll be in our Social Hall on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 5-7. Please come, bring your old gold, and leave with cash!

We are looking for a photographer for our Confirmation (April 11) and First Communion (May 2nd) ceremonies. Might any parishioners have an interest and talent in photography who might be willing to help? We are happy to pay a stipend for it!
